What is the difference between a car wash and car detailing?

A car wash is a quick, surface-level cleaning designed to remove dirt, dust, and grime from your vehicle’s exterior (and sometimes a light interior vacuum). It’s ideal for routine maintenance and keeping your car looking clean on a regular basis.

Car detailing, on the other hand, is a much more thorough and detailed service. It involves deep cleaning, restoring, and protecting both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Detailing includes paint decontamination, polishing, waxing or ceramic coating, deep interior cleaning, stain removal, and conditioning of surfaces like leather and trim.

What is mobile car detailing?

Mobile car detailing is a professional cleaning and restoration service performed at your home, office, or preferred location. We bring our own equipment, tools, and supplies so you don’t need to travel or wait at a shop.

Why are some detailing services more expensive than others?

The price of a detailing service mainly comes down to the detailer, you will find that the majority of higher end detailers will have invested a lot of time and money to ensure they have the best training, equipment and products available to provide the best service for their clients. 

Remember a cheap detailer is not going to be the best and the best detailer is not going to be cheap.

Do I need to provide water or electricity?

We come fully equipped with our own water and power supply. However, access to water or electricity can be helpful for certain larger jobs please ask when booking.

How long does a detailing service take?

Service times vary depending on the package, size and condition of the vehicle:

Basic detail: 1–2 hours

Full interior & exterior detail: 2–3 hours

Paint correction or ceramic coating: 4–8+ hours

How often should I have my car detailed?

For most vehicles, we recommend:

Full detailing including protection every 3–6 months (depending on previous protection)

Maintenance detailing every 4–6 weeks 

This keeps your vehicle protected and looking its best all year-round.

Are your products safe for my vehicle?

Yes. We use professional-grade, paint-safe, and interior-safe products designed to protect your vehicle’s surfaces. We never use harsh chemicals that could damage paint, leather, or trim.

Can you detail my car if it’s very dirty?

Absolutely. We handle heavily soiled vehicles regularly, including pet hair, stains, and neglected interiors. Severe conditions may require additional time or cost, which we’ll discuss upfront.

Do you offer ceramic coating or paint protection?

Yes. We offer ceramic coatings and other paint protection options to enhance shine, protect against UV damage, and make future cleaning easier.

What if the weather is bad on my appointment day?

Weather can affect certain services. If rain or severe conditions occur, we’ll contact you to reschedule or adjust the service at no extra charge.

How do I book an appointment?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments. Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged.

Is there anything I need to do before my appointment?

Please remove personal belongings from your vehicle before we arrive. This allows us to provide the most thorough service possible.
